Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My great-grandmother has had alzhiemers for the past several years. About 3 weeks ago she had a stroke and is unable to eat or drink. Since all of this has happened, she was not put on a feeding tube. We had her on fluids but, her vains kept blowing so we had to cut her off of those too. She has been 18 days without food and 12 without any fluids. She has been expeted to die for the past 2 days. If her vitals go down down they go right back to the neccesary levels. How much longer does she actually have? She is 84, 110 lbs, and always been really healthy
