What Is The Treatment For Diverticulitis?
I have diverticulitis and had my first ever attack last November. I had been on HCG drops and had lost about 25 pounds. I would like to go back on HCG now but wonder if there's a chance that the extreme diet and drops (and constipation) could have aggravated my condition. If I am very careful to use Metamucil and do everything I can to keep that going, do you think it would be safe for me? Thank you!

As per my clinical experience of long years, I recommend that if symptoms are well controlled with Metamucil, dietary measures and lifestyle changes taking HCG, not at all recommended. (This guideline is based on the possible side effects of HCG versus benefits above Metamucil).
