What Is The Treatment For Fever In A Baby?

My 19 months old daughter is suffering from frequent fever . Doctor is saying that its tonsils so he has given penicillin v with paracetamol. She is fine for a few hours after medication but fever reappears this has been happening for 3 to 4 days. She is not eating well and was not having milk until last night (but still intake is very less).She also feels irritated and keeps whining.

Hi, if fever is not relieved for 4 days on penicillin v, then antibiotic needs to be changed, probably linezolid needs to be given. Also, temperature charting should be done.
