What Is The Treatment For Fever?

Hello Doctor, My Son is 9 months old, weighs 8.3 kilos. He is running fever and we gave him 3ml Meftal P 6 hours ago as suggested by the doctor. he is running 100.8 degrees now (under arm measurement). Can we give him another dose of Meftal P? Doctor has prescribed every 8 hours

Hello. Thank you for your question. I recommend using the medication as directed by your doctor, every 6 hours. In the meantime, cool compresses on the forehead while you are waiting can often help bring down the temperature and help the baby feel more comfortable.
