What Is The Treatment For Frequent Loose Motion Of A 9 Month Old Baby?
Dear Sir, My 9 Months Old girl baby is passing stools more watery and frequently, doctor gave taxim o & prwel syrup but they did not stop stool,then they suggested z dot cessse after this stool is ok. but baby is weak she is not eating properly kindly suggest

Please send the stool for culture and sensitivity to know the exact bug involved.
And accordingly he has to given relevant antibiotic for loose motions like syrup ofloxacin etc.
Probiotics like prowel or darolac to be continued.
Please take care of the dehydration by giving plenty of fluids like ORS, dal rice water etc.
My personal opinion is to stop Taxim O ,because it may further increase the loose motions.
