What Is The Treatment For Frequent Passing Of Stools?
My daughter is 8 months old now, fast 3 days she is passing stool frequently - 6 to 8 times days. We went to see doctor today, he gave us SMECTA, asked us to give it in warm water, but how much we need to give?
also daughter is very lean, what we have to do (which food/milk) for increasing her weight? She is now 6 kg only. Please help. Thanks.

hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum,smecta sachet is effective in diarrhea and vomiting.below 1yr of age(as your baby is of 8mnths) you can give 1 sachet per day.first boil 1 ltr of water,cool it then add full 1 sachet in the bottle and shake it well with closed lid .then give small -small amount to your baby either with spoon or dropper.IF symptoms does not subside in 7 days consul pediatrician.wish your baby good health.
