What Is The Treatment For Itching On My Butt?

Hello, I have had a small itch on my butt for a couple of days and today I noticed that it looks like an ulcer. I had some stomach problems about 3 days ago and was wiping a lot so i figured it could be cause of excessive wiping and rubbing it raw. It itches often and sometimes hurts when I turn over a certain way. It is about 2 inches right above my butt crack and looks almost identical from a mouth ulcer from stress. Any help on what it is? How can I heal it?

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM.

I would keep a possibility of a furuncle which might have disharged due to scratching.

In such a case you require an oral antibiotic (penicillin group) for a week
along with a topical antibacterial ointment e.g 2% mupirocin twice daily.

An OTC pain killer like ibuprofen will help you deal with the pain part.
