Is Betnesol Safe For Mouth Ulcers While Sensitive To Antibiotics?
Hello Doctor, my 16 year old daughter is suffering from mouth ulcers,. She had fever for which she had to take Mox 500, thrice daily for 2 days. She is very sensitive to antibiotics. After that she developed mouth ulcers. Doctor has prescribed Betnesol , thrice daily. Is it o.k. ? we are worried, eagerly waiting for your response. Thank you.

At 16 years old, it is totally fine to take Betnesol for antibiotics induced mouth ulcers. It is usually not considered for children less than 6 years of age.
