What Is The Treatment For Itchy Rashes And Sore Throat During Pregnancy?

Hi I am about 5 months pregnant and I have an itchy rash that is coming back for a second time. The 1st time it came my midwife asked if I had a sore throat with it, which I didnt, but this time I think I might be getting one. I started eating beats everyday after the 1st rash in case my liver was having some difficulty. What would a rash and a sore throat mean, and what should I be doing?

HI,

I can understand your concerns.

A rash and sore throat can be due to a viral or bacterial infection.

Beats will not be very helpful in that though you can continue eating healthy food.

During pregnancy it is better to get it checked early before it affects your baby.

Are you also having fever?

Please get few blood tests like complete blood count and let us know.

Regards,
