What Is The Treatment For Red And Watery Eyes And Fever In Child?

Hi my son is 3 years old took him to our gp yesterday and they said he has tonsilitis, he has got antibiotics and ibrophen i cant seem to get his tempreture down, his eyes are also very red watery and he says there burning i dont know weather to take him to the emergency room or should we wait it out and its part of the tonsilitis

Thanks for the question. Your child has tonsillitis. It produces quite high grade fever.
Antibiotics take atleast 3 days to work. Kindly start paracetamol every 4-6hourly for fever and use ibugesic if fever is not controlled by paracetamol.
Wait for 48 hours more as fevetr is part of tonsillar infection.
