Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

Dilosyn is available as tablet and liquid.

Dilosyn liquid comes with the name of Dilosyn expectorent.

It contains methdilazine hydrochloride, ammonium chloride and sodium citrate.

Methdilazine hydrochloride is an anti-histaminic with anti-cholinergic activity.

Ammonium chloride is an expectorant. It cause more production of respiratory tract fluid, which make it easy to cough out sputum.

Sodium citrate is an food additive.

Thus Dilosyn expectorant can be used as an anti-allergic expectorent.
