What Medication Is Suggested For Wound From Accidental Contact Of Dog's Teeth?

once when i was playing with my lab puppy it was 1 month old .i put my finger in its mouth then i suddenly took my hand out .A size of a dot wound occured my skin just came out to the size of a dot.it didnt even bleed properlt only blood from my skin came and it was the size of a dot.My dog is now 7 month old now .will I ger rabies.

Thanks for the query.
I can understand your concern.
You should have stop any bleeding by putting pressure on the wound and then clean the area extensively. Since dog bites are at big risk of becoming infected, most children should take 3-7 days of an antibiotic, usually amoxycillin.
Take tetanus shot.
Children may need to be treated with Rabies Immune Globulin and rabies vaccine within 48 hours of being bitten if the dog who bit them has not been vaccinated or if the dog can not be found.
