What Should Be Done For Spreading Large Cut In Mouth Due To Getting Hit?

Hi I have recently gotten a cut in my mouth from getting hit with a soccer ball and getting my inner lip cut by my braces. I have been applying warm salt water but it seems that the cut is growing. It has spread to about half of my outer lip (if that makes sense). It has the look of a canker sore, but about 3-4 times larger. What should I do?

hello there!
Thank you for asking. Trauma leads to aphthous ulcers / canker sores. You just need some topical anesthetic gels and steroid gels to help your pain and inflammation. Symptomatic treatment will get you through. No worries. It will go away. Keep rinsing with garlic water mouthwash.
Brush your teeth with a small-headed, soft toothbrush and avoid eating particularly hard or sharp foods (eg, toast, potato crisps) and avoid other trauma to the oral mucosa.
use vitamin B12 , it will help.

Try one of the following oral Rinses
a-Bioadherent oral (Gelclair)
b-Chlorhexidine gluconate mouth rinses
c-Garlic water mouth wash
d- Aspirin Gargles

Here are some steroid prescriptions gt one after consulting you doctor and discussing it with them.

a-Hydrocortisone topical (Cortaid, Dermacort, Westcort)
b-Triamcinolone topical (Aristocort, Flutex, Kenalog)
c-Betamethasone topical (Alphatrex, Diprolene, Maxivate)
d-Fluocinolone (Synalar, Fluonid)
e-Fluocinonide (Fluonex, Lidex)
f-Clobetasol (Temovate)

It will be self resolved in a week or two. No wories
