What Should Be The First Aid To Stop Sudden Loose Bowel In An Infant?

Good Morning Doctor. My 5 month old son frequently poop since yesterday (6 times). Today, he loose bowel twice (30minutes interval). It’s not usual to him to loose bowel that frequent. He used to poop once every 3 days. I’ll bring him to the Pediatrician this afternoon. What should be my first aid? . I am bothered. Thank you in advance.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Immediate first aid is to start some oral re hydration solution to that child.
Feeding hygiene is of utmost important , to be observed very strictly.
Stool culture/sensitivity to be done. And accordingly child to be given some GIT specific anti diarrheal medicine .
