What Supplements Should Be Given Along With Eye Glasses For Headache?

Dear Doc, My 8 Year son has complained of headache so I have taken him for Eye check up. Doctor has given him 0.5 cylinderical power for one eye and 0.5 spherical for other. Pl. suggest for how much time he has to wear glasses and supplements to improve his power. Is there any chances for removing the glasses after some time.

Hi...whether glasses can be removed or not can be decided only after review and reassessment of the kid's power and refractive error. There are no specific guidelines as to how long the glasses will be required or when they can be removed. I suggest you be on regular follow up with the ophthalmologist and then decide after rechecking the refractive error.
