What Time And Kind Of Recovery Can Be Expected After Having Lateral Release Surgery In Knees Due To Mal Tracking?
Hi, I am schedualed to have a lateral release surgery in the new year. I actually have to have both knees done as I have mal tracking. Can you advise what kind of recovery i should be looking at, I am getting one knee done at a time. Just the LR and a clean up of the cartilage. My doctor says I will be kept in overnight as the swelling will be significant. But how long will I be on cruches for. My doctor suggested about a week but I have read other posts from people who have been on them for many week. Any advise would be great.
