Hi Doctor,
I am having anal fissure for the past 1 and half year...
It comes and goes. in the last one month, for 2-3 weeks I was having painless bowel movement.
But recently my initial part the stool got little hard. Due to which I have tear again in that area.

Could you please suggest something?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the only reason behind the anal fissure is constipation and it might be happening due to less amount of water and fiber diet taking.
Condition can be managed medically with stool softener like Isabgol powder orally and Polycresuline gel for rectal application, do not exert the force at the time of defecation, keep the regular habit of defection go to the toilet even in absence of needs of this no matter if you do not pass the stool.
If the treatment fails then surgery would be the option that gives very good result.
hope this information helps.
