Hi,

Meprate is a synthetic form of female hormone progesterone. It is found to be useful in the treatment of fibrocystic breast disease as it reduces the pain and swelling before the periods.

Its common side effects include spotting or breakthrough bleeding, vaginal itching or discharge, mood changes, and swelling of the limbs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
