Which Is The Best Protein Supplement To Build Muscles?

Hello Doctor, My question to you is that I have ulcerative colitis and right now I am in remission. I was considering the option to take 100% whey protein isolate to help build muscles because I've started a weight lifting routine. So can I take 100% whey protein isolate? If not, what other protein supplements can I take to help build muscles? Thank you.

Our body is made of protein. So, to build your body you need to maximise protein intake and back it up with proper exercise. Whey protein is easy to digest but still only a small amount digested and an even smaller amount is absorbed and assimilated. So, I would rather suggest you to go for a protein rich diet. Meat, eggs and fish contain proteins and need to be taken in bulk. Replace most of the carbohydrate portion of your food with protein rich section. Those will supply protein of good quality. You can take 100% whey protein isolate but I would not recommend any protein supplements.
