Why Child Is Displaying Aggressive Behavior, Physically Engaging With Children And Having Trouble Concentrating? Taking Clonidine, Adderall And Loratadine

My son is taking Clonidine 0.2mg tab at bedtime, Adderall XR 15mg cap in the morning, and Loratadine 10mg tab one daily for ADD. He is displaying aggressive behaviors, and physically engaging with others at school and home. He also is experiencing restlessness at night and seems to become depressed and distracted when confronted about his behaviors. He is also having trouble concentrating and focusing on tasks, home and schoolwork. My question is this. Do you think this could be a side effect from medication or interaction from the combination of med's a stage in life problem, or combination of the two? I would hate to start a progressive disciplinary action if that would not solve this issue. Please and thank you for any advise you may offer Doctor.

It seems clear to me that your child is passing a very bad situation with depression, insomnia, aggresive behavior ect.

so the best thing to do in your case is an emergent consultation with a child psychologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
