It has become very difficult to fall asleep after passing urine in midnight. I avoid having an liquid in take at least couple of hours before I go to bed. I normally go to bed around 11pm and get up around 7 am. I wake up around 4 am to pass urine. Please help.

Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Bladder training is necessary
2. Start using diapers initially, to avoid any urinary tract infection.
3. Do rule out urinary tract infection, by getting urine microscopy done. If other details about age, and chronic diseases are given, I will be able to help you more.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
