Why Does My Child Have Tiny Fluid Filled Tiny Bumps Behind Ears, Neck And On Forehead?

9 year old has small tiny red bumps that look fluid filled behind her ears, back of neck and forehead. They do not itch at all and are not painful. They started out as just regular flesh colored bumps. More pop up every day. She now had some on her upper back and chest. No itching.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It seems that your 9 year chid may be having impetigo bullosa. Initially there may be erythematous papules leading to vesicular or bullous lesions. Then they would become crusted. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Short course of antibiotics with anti inflammatory drugs might improve the lesions. Apply antibiotic cream on the lesions. Give bath in dettol containing water. Your child may be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
