Why Does My Stools Have A Sweet Smell?

I ve been sick with a could and the flu for about 2 weeks and have had constant diarrhea. Recently I began to notice a sweet smell to my bowel movements. What an be the cause of this? I ve hardly eaten the past week so i dont think it could be excess glucose.
