Why Has My Son Not Started Talking As He Is 18 Months Old ?

my son is 18 month old and doesn t started talking , but he understand everything what i tell him to do.

Mostly as you said if he can listen there should not be major problems.I hope he is speaking something like single words.The reason for not taking may hereditary,means somebody in family was also late.otherwise tongue tie means tongue tied at the base could also be the reason.Get him examined by your family doctor and then by pediatrician to confirm the exact cause.
