Why Have I Got My Periods Twice This Month ?

Hello doctor , I am42yrs old married. This month i have had menustral bleeding twice once on may 11 and once on 27th may, this however this is the 1st time that it has occured. pls can you advice the reason. alsthough i have no major pair or cramps except for tenderness of breast

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
If there is no possibility of pregnancy, then this solitary incidence may be ignored. Probably it may be due to some hormonal imbalance. If possibility of pregnancy is there then it could even be implantation bleed.
If this recurs again you should certainly visit your gynecologist for thorough investigation which may include PAP Smear, Ultrasound examination etc.
