Hello,

Typhoid may cause ulcers in the intestine or bowel obstruction. Typhoid may lead to ileum perforation in children or in few immunosuppressed patients.

Also possible that he may be suffering from peptic ulcer disease or gastric outlet obstruction.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. So please follow the orders of your physician/gastroenterologist and update the reports of the patient.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
