Why Is The Spot Of An Injury Still Sensitive?

I got hit by a baseball in the calf muscle 4 weeks ago. The bruising travelled down my leg and is still apparent but is slightly fading. My concern is that i have a bump where the ball hit and it is still very sensitive. Should I be getting this looked at?

Hello,

As I see the history it appears there is a direct injury and there must be small knot happened in the muscle fiber to have the healing process to work on.

Maybe you have tried the RICE after the injury.

Also, for this, you can use hot water fermentation and a gentle kneading massage. Which should work on the symptoms.

In case after 7 days you don't find any changes please get it examined once.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
