Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter is 2 1/2 and I have noticed that her nappies sometimes smell fishy. I change her regularly. She doesn't seem to look sore or complain of pain when wee'ing. At the moment she has a molar tooth coming through and has cold like symptoms, runny nose, cough. She is quite a mucus cough.
What could make her nappies/wee smell? Should I take her to see a GP?
greetings. once the child has passed urine and it stays in the diaper some invisible bacteria acts on it and make it smell bad. you canbtrybcollecting her urine in pan and if that's not smelling fishy the. everything's most likely okay. hope this helps.
