Hi,
- Use of meparate during breast feeding has to be with precaution.
- Meprate will prevent formation of new cysts, but it is not known to reduce size of cyst that has already formed.
- Functional ovarian cysts do not need treatment, they go on their own within 8-10 weeks.
- Cysts creating symptoms / not going away -need surgical removal
(laparoscopic, with laparotomy)
Thanks
