Will A Abdominal Fenestrated Stent Cause Edema In The Calf?

I had surgery for AAA thru the groin area where they inserted a fenestrated stent. The incesion on the right groin area was larger than the one on the left. The incesion seemed to have adeeper swollen area. Now, ten weeks later , I have developed dependent edema in my right calf. (swelling, itching, and rash.) Does this relate?

Hi.. You have not mentioned since how long your leg has been swollen. If it is acute then deep venous thrombosis needs to be ruledout. In any case i advise you to go for an ultrasound scanning of your right lower limb. Kindly consult your treating physician and explain your problem before doing so.
