Well,First of all I would like to inform you that Weight gain is an uncommon side effect of Atorvastatin. As you mentioned you current weight is 125kgs .Definatly it is causing you a knee pain which is called Arthritis. It is the inflamation of joints and prolonged Arthritis can damange your joints.Obesity is the cause of many metabolic disorders such as Diabetes, thyroid problems, high blood pressure,PCOD etc.Since you havnt mentioned about your height we cannot calculate your BMI.Our aim should be to get you to a normal BMI.So here are few dietry changes and lifestyle modifications you can do to loose those extra kgs.
1)add oatmeal to your breakfast everyday.(it is a fiber and it controlls your blood sugar levels and also helps to lower down high blood pressure)
2)Consume Green tea atleast 3 to 4 times day( it has antioxidants and it improves your blood circulation and helps in loosing weight)
3)Cut down on white bread,butter,cheese,ice creams,chocolates
4)Replace your high carbohydrate diet with high protein diet like Chicken, egg whites ,soya and Paneer(cottagecheese)
5)replace vegetable oil with olive oil.
6)Hit the Gym atleast 4 times a week or else if that is not possible 30 mins walk a day is must.
In short Consume more of fibrous foodand protiens .Cut down on Carbohydrates and exercise
I am sure if you continue it to do for atleat 3 to 5 months you will loose a large amount of body fats.
and if you are not able to do this, we have somthing called Bariatric surgery available for people who are obese and have diabetes, high blood pressure and other metabolic disorder.
All the best for your weight loss journey!
