Will Surgery Help Relieve Pain Caused By Bulging Disk?

My husband had an MRI that shows a bulging disk. He has had several weeks of therapy and it hasn t worked. His pain is high in the morning and gets a bit better as the day goes on. Our doc has referred him to pain management. I think surgery may be the best route to fix the pain. What are your thoughts?

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..

In my opinion nowadays micro endoscopic interventions by your neurosugeon are more developed and with low risk of postoperative complications .
If pain management with analgesics , painkillers , steroid injection fail i suggest a neurosurgeon point of view for more interventions like endoscopic or even surgical interventions . a skillful surgeon may undergo endoscopy of your dissectomy will be the best choice for longer duration of treatment .

Bulging disc is causing irritation of the spinal nerve which leads to lumbar spondylitis.physiotherapy will help in reduction of pain,rather then surgery homoeopathy have best medicine to cure that buldging of disk.
