Will Syndopa Cause Any Side Effects?
hi good eveving doctor my son 7 yrs old have c p (mild)studing in 1st standerd in normal school but he has slight balance problem to walk taking tab syndopa plus half od ,i would like to know is there any side effects for this ?or is there any problem for long use?please answer

Syndopa plus contains levodopa and carbidopa which is used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's like symptoms which are associated with some other diseases. These may include shakiness, stiffness and slowsiness of movement.
Syndopa plus side effects are nausea, vomiting, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, panic attacks, altered behaviour, altered sleep, mood changes, burning sensation of tongue, confusion, abnormality of voluntary movement, dizziness, fainting, headache, fever, allergic reactions etc. Patients receiving long term Syndopa plus therapy may contend with some adverse effects like fluctuations, dyskinesias, toxicity, loss of its efficacy, disabilities etc.
