Will Taking Tamoxifen Causes Severe Stomach Pain And Diarrhea?

I was on tamoxifen and it caused severe stomach pains with diarrhea with white pinkish patches. One month later, stopped taking it because it was so severe. Now almost 2 weeks later, still feeling a little bit quesy and my stools are much better but still have white discharge around it? Is this still the tamoxifen or should I be worried??

Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* Tamoxifen is known to induced abdominal pain and diarrhea as side
effect .

* Once stopping the molecule , the effect wears off within next 3 - 4 days ,
so if symptoms persist evaluation with doctor and get basic work up is
recommended .

Hope this will help you for sure .
Regards .
