Will Taking Cortisone Shot Suffice To Treat Degenerative Disc Disease?

I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck varying from c2-3 to c6-7 . Recently I was clipped by a vehicle in my right elbow and despite cortisone shot , physiotherapy , it is taking quite a while to heal . Could the problems with my neck be a contributing factor in why my recovery s taking so long?

Thanks for posting your query.

Cortisone shots will just help relieve from the pain of degenerative disc disease and not cure the disease.
Actually cause needs to be found and treated. I advise you to post the reports of your scan so that i shall go through and advise you what else needs to be done.
Your delay in elbow problem is not related to your neck problem . I think further scanning of your elbow needs to be done.
