Will The Cut On The Head Hurt While Shampooing The Hair?

I have a 1cm cut on my head and it bled quite a lot. Since it's a minor cut, I didn't go to the hospital. A pharmacist told me to clean it and put triple antibiotic ointment on it. Is it safe to use shampoo when I'm washing my hair or will that hurt the cut?

Hello. You can use shampoo for cleaning the cut gently with no problem. But you should use the antibiotic ointment after the bath. Hope this helps. Please feel free to use HCM for further questions.
