Will The Medication For Acid Reflux Remove My Bad Breath?

hi I've been diagnosed with acid reflux, I would like to know if the medication for the acid reflux will rid the bad breath I experience. Because my dentist already told me that my bad breath isn't dental. As per my ENT I have post nasal drip also.

welcome to HCM!

Your problem is bad breath. Your dentist have cleared out any dental cause related. this, then we are left with stomach and respiratory tract ( if you are a non smoker, non drinker, as both of these may lead to bad breath).

Both post nasal drip and long standing acid reflux can lead to bad breath. One may also have sinusitis along with post nasal drip, which may be related to bad breath, so, you must rule that out ( your ENT doctor will be able to tell this) .

So, you must seek medical help for treating acid reflux, and post nasal drip. I have seen good response with steam inhalation side by side with medicines in such patients.

Good luck and get well soon!
