Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 39, 5'-11", 270 lbs, my BP is 141/101 and I quit smoking 2 months ago. I have less energy than when I smoked and I have gained almost 20lbs in 2 months. I'm sure it's worth not smoking but I work 50+ hours a week and I need to loose weight bad. What should I do? I do not eat bad food. I never eat fast food or drink soda. I have a couple cups of coffee in the morning, I had a salad and Gyro for lunch and I think I'm having chicken pesto for dinner (average daily meals). P.S. I spend almost 4 hours in my car a day commuting. Is it possible to loose 70 lbs in a year (before I turn 40)?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and let me tell you that when a person stop smoking then start having very unknown and nonspecific type of symptoms and these would be just way to start the smoking again, and nothing else so just stop thinking in that way and stop comparing this with smoking that you have not taking now, take care and have a nice day.
