Respected Sir, I am Balaji from chennai, and i got affected by typhoid nearly 4 or 5 years.but i came to know that i affected by this fever only 1 month back. my medical test is s.typhii o positive 1/160 and my question is i asked doctor that when i get treated by the medicine. whether this bacter shows in any of the blood test. He said "when you r taking treatment , it never shows in ur blood". thank you

I think your question is not clear though i try to submit this with a benefit of doubt helping yu. any antibiotic should kill bacteria and should not be shown in blood test.
