Leave the patient alone, remove all furniture or any ites that can hurt him from the vicinity, just make sure that he/she does not bite the tongue. Call up for medical help. Transfer patient to a hospital as sson as the convulsions stop.

don`t do any thing which can hurt patient like putting shoes as common practice in India.Only take care patient don`t get tongue bite of any other physical trauma.call/arrange for medical help .

Thanks for using healthcaremagic. If some one gets a seizure first thing you have to do is make him lie down and clear the surroundings to avoid injuries. Do not hold him tightly. Do not try to put your hand in the mouth to prevent tongue bite. Do not give keys or metals as it can injure him. Once the jerks are over make him lie on his back and clean the throat and prevent saliva entering the lungs. If he has not become normal in 5-10 minutes or he gets one more attack rush him to the hospital. If he heas missed the medicines give him his medicines. Bye
