Best Medication To Clear Up Pin Worms

I am 14 and have pinworms I've looked up the side effects and have them all from the itching to the stomach cramps. Plus I have seen a few of them in the stool. I've tried reeses pinworm medicine them took it again two weeks after then a month later I got the pin worms back and took the same mess again in the correct dosage. It's been over a day since taking them and they are still alive when they are in the stool when they should be paralyzed? I'm kinda freaked out and my parents know and try to clean sheets and all as much as possible but do you have any tips ....thanks! -Kyle

Hi,
Thanks for your query on HCM.
It is difficult to get rid of pin worms.
Ivermectin 200 micrograms/kg body weight taken as single dose at bed time after food helped many of my patients.
But this not sufficient.personal hygiene is more important.
Cut short your nails and wash your hands thoroughly before taking food specially after scratching the buttacks.
Wash you under wears in hot water and dry them in the sun.
All the family members should take this medicine at a time.
If other members are suffering you will get reinfection from them.
