Cabies Treatment, Can He Taken A Vaccination In This Time Period ?
My baby was now 5 month old . he is affected by scabies for more than 4 months. taking a treatment continuously,by doubt was can he taken a vaccination in this time period
Scabies is a common itchy rash seen in children especially infants which is extremely contagious caused by a bug known as Sarcoptes scabei.
The skin of infants is more exposed and more sensitive and therefore these lesions can develop into large pus filled bumps.
Vaccination is important to protect the child from infectious diseases like diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio etc. and scabies infestation is not an indication to delay or postpone the regular vaccination and same shall be continued as per schedule.
Hope this helps. Take care.
