Can I Smoke Weed Inspite Of Having Hyperthyroidism?

If I am a hyperthyroid patient and I smoke weed, Is it going to give me positive effects or negative ones? or which one when done would be better? consumed or not consumed? And is it dangerous if I am on Carbimazole (40mg a day) and propranolol (3*40mg) a day medication and smoking marijuana?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Yes, you should not be smoking marijuana. Marijuana will increase your heart rate and undo the effects of propranolol. It will also worsen the psychiatric symptoms of hyperthyroidism like anxiety.

Best wishes.
