Can Premarin625 Be Used As An Emergency Contraceptive?

Hi doctors, Can premarin .625 be used as an emergency contraceptive? My husband s condom broke last night and im scared that i would get pregnant. My ob-gyne asked me to take it two times a day for six days, will this method be effective? Or should i take nordette 28 instead. I just took one premarin a few minutes ago, please help, my last menstrual cycle was may 5, 2014 first day, and im really in my fertile period.

Permarin .625 contains estrogen, will not work as an emergency contraceptive.
Please take I-pill or unwanted 72 within 72 hours of unprotected sex, will work.
Other method is use of contraceptive pills which contains levonorgestrel .15 mg.
10 tablets taken instant and 10 after 12 hours, means 1.5 mg once and then 1.5 mg 12 hour back.
You can take nordette 28 as it contains 0.15 mg levonorgestrel, but take as i explained above.
If you are in fertile period and miss these drugs then wait for next periods.
If period missed, do an early morning urine pregnancy test.
Still doubt, consult your gynecologist.
