Child. Dry Cough, Severe Headache, Muscle Pain, Lethargy, High Fever, Nausea, No Appetite. Diagnosed Flu. Mold Covered Hallway, Ac Unit At Home. Legionnaire S Disease?
My child has been sick for the past 18 months every 3-5 weeks like clock-work. She's been to the dr 13 times. Different doctors too, and everytime they tell us she has the flu.
Day1 she has a cough, unproductive and dry
day 2 severe headaches, no coughing
day 3 severe headaches, muscle/limb pain in her right leg, lethargy, 104 temp average, nausea, loss of appetite
I'm scared she may have Legionnaire's Disease, due to the ac unit in our rental house. Our hallway is covered in mold. Is it possible to get Legionnaire's Disease from a home ac?

Legionella bacteria can multiply in all kinds of water systems — hot tubs, air conditioners, and mist sprayers in grocery store produce departments.
Although it's possible to contract Legionnaires' disease from home plumbing systems, most outbreaks have occurred in large buildings, perhaps because complex systems allow the bacteria to grow and spread more easily.
