Child Having Delayed Speech With Certain Letters, Wears Braces, Has Different Tongue Movements, Wanted Information On Frenuloplasty Surgery
Hi...my son just made 12 years old, and he has delayed speech with certain letters, t, r...he goes to speech therapy at school but I always though the movement of his tongue is different. I came across an article on tongue tied and frenuloplasty, and thought this could be the issue. I m taking him to his primary doctor tomorrow, and he also has braces now so I will definitely consult with the orthodontist too. What doctor performs frenuloplasty surgery?

frenuloplasty will be performed by a general surgeon but that may not solve your child problem better talk to speech threpist
