If your child does not have any disease causing constipation give him vegetables and fruits daily. At this age he should be able to take some mashed vegetables and small quantities of whole fruits. If you are giving apple stop it. If you are giving him lot of biscuits and other snacks with low fiber content cut down these things. Give him some warm water occasionally. Constipation can usually be cured with dietary modification.
