Could Skin Rash Be A Side Effect Of Rosutec Or Dytor ?

I am taking ROSUTEC 5mg for last few months, Also I have shifted to DYTOR 10 mg from LESIX 40 mg half tablet daily. Fur last 2 months I have got skin rash all over body. It is itching too. Could it be side effect of any of these medicin. I had Heart bye pass 11 years back and also have pacemaker, The other medicines I am taking are Thyronorm 25mg,Stamlo 5mg,. Nitrocontin 2.6 mg twice,Prazopress 5mg,Echospirin 150mg Rashes have developed after start of Rosutec and Dytor. Jagmohan Kotriwala, Male aged 71 years, Kolkata, India,

Hello,

Every medication can cause a skin rash as a side effect. So,if you had the rash after starting Rosutec, it is probably an allergic reaction to this medication.

I suggest to stop the medication and consult your doctor for an alternative one. Meanwhile,I suggest using Benadryl to relieve the rash.
