Could Slight Dent In Shin Due To Being Hit, Turned Into Hard Lump, Pain With Pressure Be Serious Injury?

hi, about a month ago I got hit in the shin with a hockey ball, it bruised the skin, and at first felt like there was a slight dent in my shin, but after a week it turned into a hard like lump. the lump is still there no, as well as the bruising, and it can be tender at times, and hurt slightly when a certain amount of pressure is applied, I was wondering what damage may have been done? if its just bruising or something more serious?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The formation of lump at the site of injury is due to a hematoma formation at the site. This is not likely to be a serious injury. The lump will gradually resolve on its own with time.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
