Could Swollen Hands, Red Rashes On Elbow And Feet Be Allergic Reaction For Co Codamol Followed By Intake Of Wine?

hello, earlier in the day I took 2 co-codamol as prescribed and tonight i had a glass of wine, and for the last hour my hands have swollen and redden and rashes have begun to appear on my elbows, feet and the back of my neck...is it an allergic reaction, what should I do?

Hello,

Without an exam, I can only give general information cannot say in your particular case, but generally, allergic reactions would have to be all over. On the other hand, wine often causes non-allergic localized blush/flush.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
